An article from an Australian music journalist was posted online recently decrying the supposed lack of contemporary protest songs being written by Australian artists. Andrew Stafford’s Guardian article lists a number of songs including those written by Missy Higgins, Baker Boy and The Drones and you can hear those tracks on this week’s show.
