Seminal Australian alternative outfit Magic Dirt, fronted by Adalita Srsen, have re-formed year after the untimely death of founding bassist Dean Turner. To mark the occasions they have re-issued their debut EP from 1993, Signs of Satanic Youth. The EP was a powerful statement right out the gates and I have fond memories of playing it on repeat when it first came out, and now Pitchfork have given it glowing review. You can hear three tracks from the EP on the show today. We also air the second part of my interview with Williams Lake punk artists Evan Catalano. Tune in to hear Evan speak of his love of The Rebel Spell and spin some tracks from bands on his Shock Collar Records label.
