A huge show this week.  First up is a feature on cult Vancouver act Ladyhawke who are playing a rare local gig at the Biltmore.  There’s a fascinating fly-on-the-wall documentary on Ladyhawke that you can find on youtube which is filmed during the recording of the band’s second album.  I play a brief excerpt from this doco.  Fat Freddy’s Drop is a renowned 7-piece dub, reggae from Wellington, New Zealand, who comes recommended by David of the African Rythm’s show here on CiTR.  And Hilltop Hoods, Australia’s most lauded hip hop act, are playing Vancouver this week. I caught up with MC Suffa from the Hoods on the phone and you can hear the interview on today’s show!
