The most excellent Double J radio recently hosted a countdown of the 50 Best Australian Albums of the 90s, with ‘The Internationalist’ (1998) from Brisbane band Powderfinger coming in at #1. The single ‘Already Gone’ from that album is an amazing track and we air it today after two earlier singles from the band. Then we’re into new Australian music, followed by a track-a-piece from Vancouver-based hip hop artists Stonecold Finger, Louis Rain and Dakk’One. And we introduce three-piece nehiyawak from amiskwaciy (Edmonton), who have recently singed to Arts & Crafts with their single ‘Page’.
