This week we start with three tracks from the debut from Canberra-based TV Colours, ‘Purple Skies, Toxic River’, was six years in the making and released in 2013. This bracing blend of distorted guitars and vocals and synths exceptional hooks became an instant classic when it was released. And our mix of new Australian and Canadian tracks features some covers recorded by The Vee Bees, Angie McMahan and Ryan Beattie’s project Himalayan Bear, which has recorded an album of Bob Dylan songs with Vancouver friends during Covid-19 lockdown.
