This week we feature Kiwi new-wave band Mi-Sex who’ve just released their first record in over 30 years! I recall being mesmerized by their synth-driven hit ‘Computer Games’ when I heard it late at night on ABCTV’s Rage program and I’ve since discovered this song become #1 on the Australian charts. Sadly the band’s vocalist Steve Gilpin died in 1992 but the band reformed at various points and finally released a new album this year titled Not from Here. You can hear the single Mi Sex, Your Sex on the show today.

I’m very pleased to air part 2 of my interview with Gerry Hannah of legendary Vancouver punk band the Subhumans. As we learned last week, Gerry has always been politically motivated, and the lyrics and vision of the Subhumans were testament to this. This week we hear how Gerry was inspired to take direct action as a member of the Squamish Five and he speaks candidly about what motivated his urban guerilla activities. This is a much-listen interview…
